Since 1996, Pharmos Natur has been intensively studying the phenomenon of biophotons, which refers to the light in the cells of humans and plants. These so-called light quanta are now considered in biophysics as the key to functioning cell communication in all living organisms. They are an important organizing force. Scientific basis of the holistic concept with biophotons. "Without light, there is no life. In 1996, the company conducted its first biophoton measurements at the Institute for Biophysics in Kaiserslautern, in collaboration with physicist Fritz-Albert Popp. The result was clear: an overwhelming number of biophotons in the plants from Mexico, later also from Cuba, Colombia, and Ecuador. A small amount of biophotons in Aloe Vera plants from Southern Europe, Tenerife, and Africa. These measurement results became an important basis for the decision to cultivate Aloe Vera plants in Mexico and Ecuador.
