The dream of being forever young is as old as humanity itself. So that you can feel youthful, healthy and full of vitality at any age, we went to Nepal, where our thirst for knowledge led us to wonderful plants. We were particularly impressed by Phyllanthus emblica. The indigenous people of the Chepang farmers in Chitwan National Park take special care of the famous Ayurvedic rejuvenative fruit, the Nelli – that, incidentally, is what the locals lovingly call it. Our Ayurvedic rejuvenative fruits are mindfully processed by hand, using extensive knowledge and a great deal of skill. The fruit flesh and seeds are separated and then dried. Finally the fruit flesh and seeds are recombined. This process protects against fungal infestation and means that Nellivera® quality is guaranteed. The fruits are milled to fine powder in Germany and, with Piper longum, black pepper, ginger and selenium yeast, added to our anti-ageing and anti-stress capsules – NELLIVERA®! All ingredients are certified organic.

With this recipe we remain true to original Ayurvedic teaching, because 5000 years ago, Phyllanthus emblica was already considered a spiritual fruit that rejuvenated the skin and internal organs. Today we call this anti-ageing. The red or greenish-yellow Phyllanthus emblica fruits resemble our gooseberries and are extremely sour, which points to their high vitamin C content. When combined with bioflavanoids and tannins, the vitamin is stabilised, protected and activated. Many other enzymes such as superoxide dismutase, important micro-nutrients, minerals and amino acids, are produced by this fruit.
