There, our curiosity led us to Phyllanthus emblica, a plant with a centuries-old tradition. We were particularly moved by the work of the Chepang community in Chitwan National Park. With deep knowledge and great care, they process the fruits – lovingly called "Nelli" by the locals – entirely by hand.
The pulp and seed are first separated, then gently dried, and finally brought back together – a complex process that ensures product quality and natural stability.
In Germany, the dried fruits are finely ground and combined with long pepper, black pepper, ginger, and sodium selenite – forming our unique NelliVera® formula.
All ingredients are sourced from certified organic cultivation or wild collection.

This formulation is inspired by the original Ayurvedic teachings. Thousands of years ago, Phyllanthus emblica was already valued in traditional applications. The red or yellow-green fruits resemble our gooseberry and are known for their intensely sour taste – a sign of their natural vitamin C content.
Vitamin C contributes to the normal function of the immune system and to normal collagen formation for the normal function of the skin. It also helps protect cells from oxidative stress.
