Precious Plant Compounds, Natural Vitality, and High Energy
In the early stages of growth, before they are fully ripe, the delicious jujube fruits resemble small pears. When they are ready for harvest, they take on the appearance of dates, although they remain quite distinct. We grow them under optimal conditions in mixed cultivation in southern Portugal, near the Serra de Monchique. Here, they thrive in symbiosis with pomegranate, fig, almond, and olive trees, following eco-friendly farming practices without the use of harmful chemicals. Once a year, local smallholder families hand-harvest the fruits and carefully dry them. This process ensures that the natural integrity of the plants is preserved, along with their valuable plant compounds. Most importantly, their vitality and natural energy are retained, providing vibrant properties for those who consume them.

Chinese and Tibetan Traditional Medicine
In both Chinese and Tibetan traditional medicine, jujubes — scientifically known as Ziziphus jujuba — are highly valued both as food and as a natural remedy.
In line with this holistic view of health, jujubes are believed to support the vitality of the stomach and spleen, and help maintain the balance of vital energy between these two organs. The spleen plays a key role in purifying the blood and is essential for a stable immune system. It helps defend the body against external invaders by producing white blood cells (lymphocytes), which are crucial in fighting pathogens.
The jujube, also known as the Chinese date or red date, is known for its pleasant taste, with chewing it providing a soothing sensation throughout the mouth and throat, helping to relax the airways.
Chew a few JUJUBEVERA® fruity strips whenever you like. They can also be added to soups, sauces, and vegetable dishes.

“Happy plants play a special role in connecting our energy with our bodies, our souls and our spiritual origin.”

Tibetan medicine

Did you know? In Tibetan medicine, the spleen is considered the seat of our vital energy and vitality. The oval, dark-red fruits are a rich source of essential minerals, trace elements, B-vitamins, and, most importantly, saponins, which can help bind LDL cholesterol. For increased vitality and a feeling of radiant well-being! Delicious and wonderfully healthy — pure jujube fruit strips.
