Since 1986, we have been developing natural skincare with a distinctive approach. Our formulas work with the skin’s own natural abilities: to regenerate, protect itself and regain balance.
Rather than relying on isolated individual substances created in the laboratory, we formulate with whole plants whose active compounds naturally complement one another. At the heart of our skincare is Aloe Vera Organic Juice with more than 160 active components, combined with carefully selected medicinal and rejuvenating plants.
Modern ingredients such as bakuchiol and hyaluronic acid come together with adaptogens and traditional plant knowledge to create intelligent networks of active ingredients — scientifically grounded and tangible on the skin.

Our Aloe Vera
Aloe Vera Barbadensis Miller grows in the land of the Maya, in Yucatán, Mexico—in organic mixed cultivation, without chemicals. It is grown by smallholder families with whom we have maintained fair partnerships for decades.
After harvesting, each leaf is peeled by hand, one by one. We use only the pure plant gel—without harsh filtration or the isolation of individual compounds. This ensures that the plant’s extraordinary diversity of active ingredients is fully preserved. That’s why our formulas don’t start with water, but with 100% organic Aloe Vera juice. Its unique viscosity absorbs the active ingredients from other healing and rejuvenating plants and carries them deep into the skin—for hydration, soothing, and noticeable regeneration.

Here, too, we use the whole plant rather than isolated individual substances. This preserves vitamins, minerals, trace elements and enzymes in their natural synergy, just as they occur within the plant.
The range extends from Aloe Vera Organic Juice for drinking to Sesamkraft, YaconVera and JujubeVera, as well as fruit powders and carefully composed teas for inner balance, vitality and regeneration. Each plant is grown in organic mixed cultivation by small-scale farmers in the regions where it naturally finds the best growing conditions.

In the early 1980s, Margot Esser suffered an accident during a trip to the southern USA, sustaining severe burns to her face and upper body. At a naturopathic clinic, she experienced for the first time the healing power of aloe vera in combination with other medicinal plants. This was the turning point in her life. For more than 35 years, she and her team have been researching, developing, living, and loving the vision of PHARMOS NATUR.

Yes. Your skin’s needs can change throughout the year and during different stages of life. Stress, climate, hormonal changes and an unfamiliar skincare routine can also affect how your skin feels and looks.
We therefore recommend adapting your skincare regularly to your skin’s current condition rather than relying solely on a skin type determined at one particular point in time.
In winter, the skin often benefits from more protection and richer skincare, while lighter textures may feel more comfortable in summer. Sun, cold, wind and dry indoor heating can also influence how the skin feels.
Your skincare routine can therefore be adapted to the season — for example, by combining a gel with a botanical oil or by switching to a lighter or richer cream.

Yes. Products from different skincare lines can be combined according to your skin’s current needs. We recommend introducing new products one at a time so you can observe how your skin responds.
A serum is usually lighter in texture and is applied after cleansing. A cream follows to help retain moisture and protect the skin. Both steps can complement each other as part of a balanced skincare routine.
Yes. What matters most is your skin type, current skin condition and personal preferences — not gender. Choose the products that best suit your skin’s current needs.
As a general guide, apply your skincare in the following order: cleanser, facial toner, serum, eye care and then cream. Depending on the product and your skin’s needs, a facial oil can be applied before or after your cream. During the day, sunscreen should be the final step.
At PHARMOS NATUR, less is often more. Our products are highly concentrated and should be applied sparingly and evenly to cleansed skin.
As a general guide, you usually only need:
- a few drops or a small amount of gel or serum,
- about a pea-sized amount of face cream,
- one to three drops of facial oil,
- a very small amount of eye care for both eye areas.
The ideal amount depends on the product, your skin’s current needs and the size of the area where it is applied. Start with a small amount and add more if needed. Your skin should feel comfortable and well cared for without leaving a heavy film.
Not every product needs to be used twice a day. Cleansing, hydration and protection form the foundation of your skincare routine; additional steps depend on the product and your skin’s individual needs. You can find specific application instructions in the individual product descriptions.
This varies from person to person and depends on your skin’s condition, the product and consistent use. Some changes in how the skin feels may be noticeable quickly, while others may take several weeks to become apparent.
For us, sustainability begins with the selection, origin and cultivation of our plants. We focus on long-term partnerships, responsible growing methods and a respectful approach to nature and its resources.
In processing, packaging and shipping, we also continuously work to use materials responsibly and further improve our processes. We see sustainability not as a fixed end point, but as an ongoing responsibility.
In organic mixed cultivation, different plant species grow alongside one another. This supports natural biodiversity within the cultivated areas and helps prevent the soil from being depleted in the same way as it can be in monocultures.
Our Aloe Vera is grown under certified organic conditions using mixed cultivation. This approach reflects our commitment to combining high plant quality with a mindful and responsible relationship with nature.
We also take a mindful approach to the materials used in our packaging. We consider both the protection and shelf life of the product, as well as environmental aspects.

Packaging needs to reliably protect our valuable formulations from light, air and contamination. At the same time, we use materials consciously and regularly review our packaging solutions.
Our aim is to balance product safety and shelf life with the responsible use of resources. After all, a product that spoils prematurely or cannot be fully used also consumes valuable resources.
High-quality plant-based ingredients form the foundation of every formulation. What matters is not only which plant is used, but also how it is cultivated, harvested and processed.

Within Germany, we charge a flat shipping fee of €6.50 for insured delivery.
Orders of €89 or more qualify for free shipping within Germany. There is no minimum order value and no surcharge for small orders.

For international deliveries, customs clearance may result in longer delivery times. Orders are not dispatched on weekends or public holidays.

We ship all orders exclusively with DHL. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive tracking information so you can check the current status of your delivery.
Within Germany, delivery to a DHL Packstation or Deutsche Post branch is also available.
